John co-founded Frasher Whaley Realty Group in 2015 with the firm goals of providing a higher level of service to its clients through specific core values- professionalism, reliability, communication and knowledge.
After arriving in the Triangle area in 2004, John began investing in and managing rental properties and rehabilitating historic homes in Durham. He then found his true passion in being a trusted advisor for clients and guiding them through the process of buying and selling real estate.
John is a native of South Carolina, but has spent almost all of his adult life in North Carolina. He graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University and earned a master’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. After spending a few years in Washington, DC, John moved to the Triangle and it has been home ever since.
